I learned that people in the past had very weird thoughts. This movie show us the grade of racism people can reach.
2.  What is the message of this movie? Do you agree or disagree with it?
That characteristics about our aspect should not be important because what it really tell the world who we are is our mind, our actions and whats we do everyday to be a better human. I agree that Skeeter wants to help the maids because since she was a little girl, she had a different perspective of the help. She really achieved something good.
3.  Was there something you didn't understand about the film? What was that?
Why there was so much hate for African American people. Also I did not understand why people let their children with the help.
4.  What did you like best about the movie? Why?
That African American people had the courage to face the problem.
5.  What did you like least about the film? Why?
How white americans treat the help because they didn't consider anything about them.
6.  Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?
I really liked the character of Celia Foote, she was so humble and considered everybody's feelings.
7.  Who was your least favorite character in the film? Why?
Hilly because she treated the help very bad. She was so selfish and rude with everybody.
8.  Did anything that happened in this movie remind you of something that has occurred in your own life or that you have seen occur to others?
Yes, here in Mexico there is discrimination to some prehispanic cultures.
9.  What were you thinking as you finished watching the film?
Why people have the necessity to feel superior to other people.
10.  Would you recommend this movie to a friend? Explain your reasons.
Yes because it is a movie that shows the reality with different emotions. This movie makes you laugh, cry, be desperate and share a lot of feelings with the characters.
11.  What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?
When Aibileen tells skeeter how his son unfortunately died. This part of the movie was so emotive because Aibileen did not want to tell that story.
12.  If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?
I would ask Skeeter's mother why she didn't defend Constantine if she was more important.
13.  If you had a chance to ask the screenwriter a question, what would it be?
Why you decided to write about this theme? Did you have some experience that made you write about this?
14.  If you were writing the screenplay for this movie, would you have changed the ending? Explain your answer.
I would write an ending were African american people have more rights and things in the south of USA change.
15.  What feelings did you share with any of the characters in the movie?
I shared the sadness of the help and the inequality the had everyday.
16.  Did any of the characters in this movie make you angry? Why?
Yes, Hilly because she cared about things had no importance for anybody.
17.  Did you come to respect any of the characters in this movie? Who was it and why did you come to respect that character?
Skeeter because she had a lot of risk writing about the Help, she could have entered to Jail or something worst.
I did respect her because she was so brave, humble and kind with the help.

Reaction to technology videos

Technology nowadays is everywhere. Videos like "Look up" of Gary Turk or "Your cell phone is not a part of your body, you can let it go", show the real impact technology has on society. It is sad how a gadget can separate us from important things like a family dinner, a reunion with friends or a class at school. We all have been in this situations.

Technology is used in everybody daily activities, and can be very useful. For example: people can communicate with their families that live in other countries. Laptops or cellphones are tools used in companies to have better results. Whats we have to learn is when to do al those things.

Cellphones, laptops, ipad, etc are good in our daily life but it is important to realize what is important at the moment. Leave your cellphone for a moment and enjoy your family, friends and life.

City life vs country life

The life in the city is very different if you compare it with life in the country. I have lived all my life in Mexico City so I know exactly how is the city lifestyle. Also when I can, I visit some towns near Mexico city so here is a Top 3 advantages and disadvantages of each one.

City
Advantages
You have all the public services.
There are a lot of places to visit.
Better schools and hospitals.

Disadvantages
Traffic jams.
More people in the streets.
Pollution is everywhere.

Country
Advantages
You can have a more relax life.
Peace and calm in streets.
There is less pollution.

Disadvantages
Some services like water or electricity are not good.
It is difficult to have good internet signal.
School, hospital or markets can be very far from towns.

In conclusion the city and the country have something good to offer everyone. It depends on what you prefer or what you are looking for to have in your life.

Descriptive Essay

My favorite restaurant

Everybody loves food, it is one of the greatest pleasures in life. People always enjoy a good dish. I enjoy food from different countries but I think one of the best is mexican. In México, of course, there are tons of mexican restaurants. My favorite is called “Villa Maria”. It is the perfect place to go with family or friends. There is good food and beverages for every taste. The decoration makes you feel proud of your country, of course if you are mexican. You have to be prepared to have a very good time in here.

Food in Villa Maria is delicious. You can find dishes from every part of the country. You can eat fish, meat, chicken, etc. all with unique flavors that cannot be tasted in any other place. Most people’s favorite dish is the spicy tuna, it is one of the restaurant’s best dishes. Most of the food is spicy because is a mexican restaurant, so you have to prepare your tongue.

To complement the dishes, there are also a lot of beverages. You can order them with or with our alcohol. One of the most delicious are Margaritas. Villa Maria offers you a lot of flavors like mango, apple, mint or strawberry, all of theme with tequila of course. Beverages in here are huge, so with one you are done for the entire meal.

In addition to the good food experience in Villa Maria, the decoration si amazing. It reflects lot of culture and tradition. Sometimes there are mariachis singing with mexican customs. The whole restaurant is full of paintings and sculptures that represent Mexico. The place makes you feel proud of mexican culture.

If you love food and want to try something new, you definitely hace to eat at Villa  Maria. The experience is amazing; food, beverages and the restaurant’s decoration is incredible. It is one of the best places for mexican food here in Mexico. I’m very sure you will not regret eating in Villa Maria.
